	Amy Hydorn Esthetician Amy has provided esthetic services for 7 years, having obtained her licensing from Merrell University of Beauty Arts & Science. Amy’s passion for skin care is evident not only in her work, as well as her desire for continuing education. 	Natasha Skellenger Stylist Natasha has more than 10 years experience as a stylist. She believes communication is the key to client satisfaction and that a thorough consultation is crucial. “I want to know from the face shape and desired outcome to how much time they’re able to spend styling”, states Natasha. She also tries to educate each client how to recreate their style at home. “I love being able to really connect with my clients while working as an artist doing something I love.” Natasha stays current with ongoing education and specializes in: Dimensional Cutting Foiling Color Updo styling Facial waxing Styling Natasha’s favorite styling products are Phomollient and Confixor. 	Nancy Bagley Stylist/Salon Manager Nancy has been with Sonrisa for over 20 years. She received her license at North Kansas City Beauty School more than 34 years ago. Over the years, Nancy has trained with Roy Peters/Redken for advanced color training and various TIGI artists for hair cutting; among other training classes all over the U.S. Nancy has always had an intense passion for this industry. “I love to see the change in my clients when we try something new!” Nancy loves to mix the AVEDA Brilliant Texturing Gel and the AVEDA Style Prep Smoother. The combination gives an amazing feel to the hair along with holding power and smoothness all in one.
	Tracy Moss Scheduling Coordinator Tracy joined the Sonrisa staff in August 2010. Although she is a licensed, Massage Therapist and graduated from MTTI in 2004, her position with us is as a front Desk Scheduling Coordinator. She enjoys working with the clients and believes great customer service is invaluable. She loves cooking and gardening and relaxing outside with her husband and 4 children. 	Sandi Martin-Hennier Stylist Sandi has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. She has attended classes annually in New York, Las Vegas, Mexico, and Chicago. Sandi was also the former owner of Hair Extraordinaire and St. Martin Salon. Specialty areas: Passion Men’s Grooming Dimensional Color Sandi’s favorite styling aid is the AVEDA Volumizing Tonic as it provides extra lift and texture. AVEDA’s Brilliant Damage Control is a great heat protectant. A must have for heat styling.
	Karen Kissinger Owner Karen Kissinger brings strong commitment and leadership to her role as co-owner. She is a certified Life and Wellness Coach, award-winning educator, passionate philanthropist, and proponent of eco-friendly products. A Rockhurst University graduate, she earned a master’s degree (MA) in Education at Park University and taught for more than 20 years at St. Pius X. “Sonrisa provides our clients a respite from everyday stressors, relaxation and rejuvenation of skin and hair in a comforting, eco-friendly environment. The Sonrisa difference is beauty and balance integrated with social responsibility for the planet and our communities.” Karen considers the world’s most beautiful women to be: Mother Theresa of Calcutta, Maya Angelou, and her daughter, Katie Paulus (and Sonrisa co-owner). 	Katie Kissinger Paulus Owner Katie Paulus, co-owner, finds inspiration in the beauty of daily life and in the ideas and “common collective” of the Sonrisa team. “We provide services and products that are good for you and gentle on the environment. Our services make a positive impact on our clients’ self-esteem and sense of wellbeing.” Katie describes the Sonrisa difference as “our technicians’ experience, combined with our commitment to excellence, and customized beauty and wellness services.” The St. Pius X and 2007 University of Missouri School of Law graduate describes fashion magazines as her favorite guilty pleasure. 	Rhonda Cool Esthetician and Stylist Rhonda is the former owner of Spa St. Martin in Parkville. She has been in the spa/salon industry for over 15 years. She has only recently joined the Sonrisa staff. Rhonda also worked as an educator for four years with Clean and Easy Waxing. This exposed her to many industry trade shows and extended education classes. She strongly believes in ongoing education and shares this same belief with her co-workers at Sonrisa. Rhonda is an advocate of natural skincare, makeup and hair care products, therefore, giving her the perfect fit at Sonrisa Salon and Day Spa. 	Jamie Marceau Massage Therapist and Reflexologist Jamie received her degree for Massage Therapy from MTTI in March 2009. She received her license in July of 2009 and came to work at Sonrisa shortly after that. Her current modalities include: Basic Swedish Massage Deep Tissue Massage Hot Stone Massage Reflexology Prenatal Massage Jamie loves giving relief to her clients through massage therapy.
